#M020 Vase
Produced for the 1945 catalog, this is a vintage McCoy Pottery vase #271 with a matte white glaze. This piece does have some factory character in the form of two dents on either side beneath the handles. It looks like the potter picked up the vase with two fingers during the green ware stage. Not uncommon, but duly noted. Fully marked, it is nicely detailed.

This Splendid Vintage Art pottery planter / flower pot / vase was made by the Nelson McCoy Pottery Co. of Roseville, Ohio. Called 'Blossom Time', this popular, highly detailed and hand painted Art pottery Line was produced by McCoy in 1947. This square planter has a superb matte white finish and is slightly flared at the top. It has a raised design of hand painted flowers, branches and leaves, highlighted by a single large, 'applied' flower - all in beautiful earthy, matte hues of pinks, browns and greens! The large applied pink flower is over two inches across! Signed 'McCoy' on the bottom.

Wonderful 1950’s McCoy Pottery aqua flower pot with attached saucer. It has a heavy horizontal ribbed design inside and out and is rather shallow, so it may have been intended as a violet pot. It is marked ‘McCoy USA’ on the bottom.
